From boundaries to informed consent to scope of practice. This 6-hour course will cover the most cited reasons for ethics violations and engage the group in utilizing evidence-based decision making to navigate the most challenging dilemmas.

This training is for mental health professionals in any setting.  From Private practice to agency work, ethical boundaries are an essential part of our therapeutic work.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand what constitutes a healthy and therapeutic boundary and those that undermine the therapeutic process
• Understand and develop a working knowledge around ethical decision
• Develop an understanding around legal & ethically compliant informed consent including the use of ‘dynamic’ informed consent with respect to dual relationships
